On behalf of our client, an innovative semiconductor company developing next-generation wireless chips for critical infrastructure and high-performance systems for next-generation connectivity, we are looking for Sr RFIC Engineer (Power Amplifier) to join our client's growing engineering team. In this role, you’ll be developing next-generation transmitter solutions for infrastructure, edge, and aerospace applications, working with a world-class engineering team focused on innovation and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of RF Power Amplifier (PA) circuits, drivers, and associated transmitter components.
- Conduct transistor-level circuit design using GaN, GaAs, CMOS, or SiGe BiCMOS technologies.
- Use tools like Cadence, ADS, and HFSS to simulate and validate circuit behavior.
- Work closely with layout engineers to ensure design robustness and performance.
- Support lab testing and evaluation of transmitter ICs, including debugging and optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align architecture, modeling, and testing.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, with specialization in RF/Analog design; PhD preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in transmitter IC and PA design.
- Experience with high-frequency circuits, power efficiency optimization, and transistor-level design.
- Familiar with EM simulation tools (HFSS, Sonnet, CST) and lab testing equipment.
- Experience with tape-out processes and post-silicon validation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $140,000 - $170,000
