On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Microsoft Intune Support Services Consultant to support the maturity of our Intune environment and support the team through their Intune Roadmap.


Responsibilities:

• Working collaboratively with current ITSM team, the Microsoft Intune Consultant’s services will specifically include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Supporting Intune Roadmap initiatives:

o Prioritization of tasks and milestones for phased implementation of the current roadmap

• Policy Review and Optimization:

o Review and optimization of Intune policies for device management, security, and compliance.

o Recommendations for aligning policies with best practices and organizational requirements.

o Integration of Intune policies with existing IT infrastructure and applications.

• Security and Compliance Analysis:

o Assessment of security risks and vulnerabilities in current Intune setup.

o Development of security strategies and policies to enhance data protection and threat prevention.

o Compliance analysis to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.

• Training and Knowledge Transfer:

o Customized training sessions for ITSM staff on Intune features and best practices.

o Hands-on workshops covering Intune setup, configuration, and management.

o Documentation and guides for ongoing reference and knowledge retention


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and related experience

• Industry-recognized software testing certification is considered an asset

• Minimum of 7 years of demonstrated experience in auditing, deploying, or managing Microsoft Intune environments

• Must possess at least one of the following certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

• Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate

• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:

o Automation and scripting

o Lifecycle management

o End user onboarding and offboarding processes

o The following certifications are considered assets:

o Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate

o Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

o Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
