Apply for Product Analyst

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Product Analyst.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering/vetting business requirements and QA testing.

• Create, manage, and resolve stories in JIRA.

• Create, manage, release stories related to prioritized work (production & ITE)

• Evaluate/develop business requirements.

• Monitor development to ensure standards are followed and ease of maintenance.

• Manage incidents and incoming enhancement requests.

• Document and execute user story acceptance tests.

• Provide user story and solution support to team members.

• Support investigation, analysis, and response to incidents.

• Facilitate problem and solution negotiations with business stakeholders and the IT team.

• Ensure high quality of development and solution before product increment release.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

• Some experience as a product analyst with gathering requirements and QA testing.

• 3-5 years experience in an IT analyst role

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, Marketing, or Commerce and 4-6 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Problem-solver with strong facilitation and analytical skills who can manage multiple priorities.

• Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and perseverance

• Gathering/vetting business requirements and QA testing.

• Confident communicator adept at facilitation and comfortable building partnerships with key stakeholders

• Team player who embraces change and strives to improve and innovate processes.

• Eye for detail and a passion for building great products.

• Experience working in an agile environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Jira
