On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for Scheduling Analyst(s) to report to the OPOR PIEM Manager and be part of the team responsible for Stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and implementation of the Scheduling Application within OPOR Clinical Information System.


Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of scheduling applications in a Clinical Information System.

• Knowledge of Cerner Scheduling Application an asset.

• Ability to relay or explain complex technical issues or difficult scenarios to clinical and business staff.

• Basic knowledge of systems principles, theories, and concepts within healthcare.

• Ability to solve a range of complex problems; identify innovative solutions, and use clinical best practice knowledge of internal and/or external business issues to improve service.

• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis.

• Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to solve high-risk, complex issues.

• Experience in transformational or process analysis to support change management principles.

• Organizational Skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work successfully within a high-change environment with a level of ambiguity with roles and functions.

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

• Ability to clearly communicates the NSH vision, mission, and values.


Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience in application programming, systems analysis, business analysis or systems support.

• Post-secondary education in clinical, health science, information technology and or health informatics.

• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communications skills

• Experience in workflow and process redesign an asset

• Able to function well within a team setting and independently

• Certification in CPHIMS, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP) and/or organizational change management an asset.
