Apply for Director, Clinical Information Systems

On behalf of our healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Director of Clinical Information Systems to lead a multidisciplinary team accountable for areas of the OPOR-CIS including Ambulatory (1200+ clinics in scope), INA (inpatient nursing), MHA (Mental Health and Addictions), LTC (Long-term care), Rehab, and Women’s Health and possibly other areas as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive leadership positions in health care and having clinically related practice or clinical application experience.

• Clinical designation preferred.

• Experience as a strategic leader within a complex organization, enabling change leading transformational projects, and providing strategic advice to senior management

• Experience working with patient care leaders and staff across a large organization.

• Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks applicable to the practice of health professions

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task to meet tight deadlines

• Experience in engaging, mentoring, and empowering teams and stakeholders in a collaborative, participative manner to respond to the mission, vision, goals, and objectives of an organization

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret statistical data and monitor quality and performance indicators and benchmarks.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of competence in both written and verbal communication.

• Understanding of clinical systems, IT tools, and processes
