On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is looking for Quality Assurance Analysts to work on a new licensing program to design, develop, and implement test plans, and strategies, and lead testing activities with partners and junior internal test staff. 


Responsibilities:

• QA to design, develop, implement test plans, and strategies, and lead testing activities with partners and junior internal test staff. The position will add necessary capacity to the team's manual testing effort to meet key scheduling requirements

• Scope covers the new GLPR and NMLP QA activities for: 

o Client/Server applications; deployment; UAT Planning/Execution; End-to-End

o Integration Testing across DL Applications, Online, and Batch Mainframe

o Processes; Stored Procedures; and Java APIs


Deliverables:

• QA and Data Setup for Impacted Project Applications and Systems

• Testing: Mainframe online transactions and batch jobs, Desktop Client/server applications, Web applications and APIs

• Creation & Execution of Project test plans

• Creation and maintenance of detailed JIRA/Confluence Issue Tracking and Documentation

• Detailed defect documentation with repeatable steps, and coordination with developers through resolution

• Analysis of complex system components to determine the cause of defects and possible resolution steps

• Identifies and determines strategies to mitigate technical risks


Qualifications:

• Meticulous attention to detail.

• Previous experience with IMS/Mainframe preferred.

• Expert at writing and developing technical documentation.

• Influence change: Able to promote ideas and gain the cooperation of others.

• Willingness to learn; excellent collaboration ability.

• To plan, prioritize, and complete multiple complex concurrent tasks in an environment of changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements.

• Supports task breakdown and estimating of any complexity.

• Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.

• Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
