On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking an Enterprise Architect who will build on securing the existing business system investments to ensure we provide efficient, customer-driven, affordable, and future-focused solutions. In this role, you will deliver IT strategies, IT strategic planning, and IT advisory services to all of IT which includes creating reference architectures, and technology standards and making sure solutions are well-architected to support the hybrid cloud environment.


Responsibilities:

• Cloud - Leveraging leading cloud practices and services to drive the journey to cloud.

• Big Picture Thinking - Drive consistency at enterprise level and ensure solutions align with strategies and standards

• Serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to partners in IT and the business.

• Stakeholder Engagement. Skilled at identifying and engaging with impacted parties.

• Leadership. Ability to own, direct and influence change


Qualifications:

• Absorbing large amounts of information, analyzing and synthesizing the key ideas and recommendations, and effectively applying your understanding to drive technology and architectural decisions;

• Drive or lead on-premises technical solution migration to cloud initiatives.

• Deliver Reference Architecture and technology standards to support the use of SaaS, PaaS and IaaS solutions. This includes new solutions built natively in the cloud as well as migrating existing workloads to the cloud.

• Cloud certification and a deep understanding and hands-on experience in AWS and Azure native services would strongly support your effectiveness in this role together with application of the Well-Architected Framework (WAF) in your past 


Technical skills:

• One or more of the following certifications: The Open Group’s TOGAF, (Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

• Experience with the following Regulations, Standards and Frameworks:

o Payment Card Industry’s Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS)

o General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

o Privacy Principles (best practices)

o International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 27001/2

o National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)

o Data privacy requirements (FOIPPA) and provincial and federal regulations

o Expert in Visio, PowerPoint and technical documentation.


Salary: $116,300 to $165,000 + benefits
