On behalf of healthcare client who are working on their Roadmap that provides guidance to governments, health system managers and industry on common standards needed to support the secure transfer of health information from different systems and platforms.


·      This role is an important contributor to their priorities, works with key clinical stakeholders to drive meaningful engagement and builds support for the adoption of interoperability-focused services and tools.  

 

Major Responsibilities

·      Provides clinical leadership, thought leadership and subject matter expertise to internal teams for the purposes of clinical engagement, planning and development of current and future Infoway connected care initiatives, closely aligned with emerging regional needs.

·      Supports collaborative engagement of clinicians regionally or nationally to drive meaningful engagement and builds support for connected care initiatives through clinical innovation. 

·      Maintain relationships with regional associations and key regional clinical stakeholders to understand interoperability barriers, risks and issues.

·      Support, participate and actively contribute to clinical communities of practice and/or working groups as required.

·      Provides guidance and support related to professional practice, clinical requirements and implications to internal and external stakeholders, as it applies to connected care activities.

·      Provides strategic input on clinical value, clinical acceptance, clinical integration and use of the digital health solutions within the practice settings based on emerging issues and trends, particularly pertaining to the initiatives Roadmap.

·      Participate in the development, implementation, evaluation and revision of practice-based reference material, learning packages, success stories, toolkits and related documentation for the Program as required.

 

Qualifications

·      Practicing clinician, licensed in one or more Canadian Jurisdictions

·      7+ years recent clinical and leadership experience

·      2 years’ experience in Education, Administration or Project Management

·      Experience in local, regional, provincial or national implementation and adoption of health information systems

·      Broad knowledge and familiarity with Digital Health Solutions

·      Experience related to health systems, policy development, change management, evaluation and research as asset

·      Demonstrated ability in complex analysis, critical thinking and problem solving

·      Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills

·      Must be able to demonstrate appropriate professional conduct in the digital world (internet, social media, etc.)


Education

·      Undergraduate Degree in a health discipline required

·      Masters level education is an asset

·      Must be a member in good standing of relevant clinical associations/ organizations/ regulatory bodies.

·      CPHIMS-CA designation an asset
