On behalf of our public sector client. Affinity is looking for a Delivery Lead/Business Analyst to plan, schedule, communicate, and organize all activities related to advancing the work of prioritized projects, and may be assigned to multiple projects at the same time. They will work closely with internal resources and subject matter experts to conduct options analysis, develop a procurement strategy, and set the foundation for product implementation.
Responsibilities:
• Develop a plan to ensure the goals and objectives of the project are accomplished on time.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops, product demos, etc., as needed.
• Engage stakeholders, such as business users, program owners, procurement specialists, technical experts, and subject matter experts in contributing to the project deliverables.
• Manage the project activities, prioritizing the work that needs to be done against the capacity and capability of the team and track progress.
• Proactively manage dependencies, resolve blockers, escalate more challenging risks and issues as necessary.
• Secure acceptance and approval of deliverables from the Project Sponsors.
• Provide stakeholder management and communication.
• Project Initiation Document, which outlines the key details of the project, including objective, scope, high-level plan, roles, and responsibilities.
• Report of options analysis findings and recommendations.
• Stakeholder communications, including meeting agendas, minutes, status reports, and presentations.
Qualifications:
• Experience in project management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to manage dependencies across components and tasks and can sequence work appropriately to deliver the highest value.
• Strong skills in workshop planning and facilitation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with project team members, vendors, subject matter experts, users, and other stakeholders.
The following skills and experience are considered an asset:
• Experience working with Public Sector software projects.
• Experience with the procurement of technical solutions.
• Strong skills in the use and knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, Confluence, JIRA, and other collaboration tools.
• PMP designation.
